The Fisher Clay Group, LLC is a full-service advocacy and strategic affairs firm that aims to advance the power of voice in a world that demands change.  We collaborate with brands and creative leaders to shape culture and achieve equity through effective advocacy, conscious partnerships, and innovative initiatives. Through our work, we guide the next generation of creative leaders and usher their voices to the forefront to help further the advancement of the creative community while effecting economic, social and environmental equity. Our past and current partners and clients include Animana Clothing (Argentina), Nannacay (Brazil), NGO Hecho por Nosotros, Fashion Revolution USA, Women of Color Worldwide, DC Fashion Incubator at Macy’s, Cambridge University and Thousand Fell.

 

Recognized as an advocacy thought leader at the intersection of equity and fashion, our work has been featured in Vogue Business and Marie Claire Magazine. Our firm has shared its work and expertise in multiple forums, conferences, and initiatives including South by Southwest, the United Nations, the Ethical Fashion Initiative, and various NGOs. Discussion topics have included: People, Policy and Politics; Advancing Health Equity; Will Tech Fix Fashion; Bridging the Financing Gap for Fashion’s Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Developing Countries; Meeting Social and Environmental Standards in the Fashion Industry; The United State of Fashion: Your Brand, Your Voice; Fashion’s Role in Combatting Climate Change through Regenerative Agriculture, and Sustainable Materials, Processes, and Initiatives.

 

Check out some of our work in action:

 

  • Secured collaboration between Fashion NGO Hecho por Nosotros and the IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Program to promote capacity building for artisans and advance global competitiveness.

 

  • Developed partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce and D.C. Fashion Incubator at Macy’s to facilitate economic growth for emerging fashion designers and small and medium creative enterprises.

 

  • Partnered with recyclable sneaker brand, Thousand Fell, and students at Northeastern University, Cambridge University and Northwestern University to educate and mobilize hundreds of youth activists on social and environmental equity.

 

  • Facilitated a learning exchange between the D.C. Fashion incubator at Macy’s and the African Women Entrepreneurship Program, an initiative led by the U.S. Department of State, that identifies and builds networks of women entrepreneurs across sub-Saharan Africa poised to transform their societies by owning, running, and operating small and medium businesses.

 

  • In honor of the UN Economic and Social Council’s Youth Forum, co-organized youth forum to educate and connect hundreds of young leaders to climate action as it relates to fashion.
